Kilbeans is an integrated high-speed ISP routing network and social utility platform. Built to eliminate centralized latency, algorithm manipulation, and disconnected campus communication.

System Purpose

Modern academic environments require speed, reliability, and real-time distribution. Kilbeans unifies hardware-level Wi-Fi routing infrastructure with a dedicated social ecosystem—giving students and faculty an encrypted, zero-lag portal for official announcements, community sector feeds, and high-speed local data pipeline access.

Technical Foundation

Kilbeans is a full-stack system: a mobile-first React Native client distributed through Expo EAS, plus a React.js web surface, both served by Node.js API gateways and Python automation services. Real-time data is indexed with Firebase Firestore, media is stored in DigitalOcean Spaces object storage, and Redis write-behind caching absorbs peak campus traffic. The physical layer runs on MikroTik RouterOS gateways with captive-portal billing and enterprise access point configurations.
